Whether you are an experienced crocheter or an absolute beginner, this is the class for you! We will begin with the infamous Granny Square. Even the simplest square is fun to make! I will start with the very basics, and I have plenty of patterns, for those wanting to expand their skills. 16yrs +
Preschool Art and Literacy Class
This 5 week workshop focuses in on COLOR! Each class will begin with a curated book about color for story time. Then a quick lesson and demonstration of a vibrant art project. We will complete a new art project each week using a variety of mediums all centered on the element of color.

Acrylic Pop-up
Paint a relaxing beach scene and take it home the same day! You’ll be guided step-by-step from blank canvas to your finished painting while learning how to load brushes, paint wet into wet and blend colors. All necessary supplies will be provided. Ages 13+
Crochet Class: Granny Squares
Learn how to make the infamous granny square! The number of projects you can make with this technique are limitless. Granny squares can range from simple stitches to complex layers of crochet goodness. This is an excellent way to build upon your crochet skills. Even the simplest square is fun to make! There will be plenty of patterns to choose from, ranging from very easy to advanced. All skill levels are invited! Come prepared with a size 5mm, 5.5mm, or 6mm crochet hook and multiple colors of yarn in a medium weight (size 4 worsted). Yarn size and hook are not important for these projects. You will be supplied with beautifully illustrated instructions, patterns and hands on guidance.

Paint a picture and take it home the same day! Join me as I walk you through all the stages of an acrylic painting of a multi-colored ocean seascape. Learn how to load a brush, paint wet into wet and blend colors as you are guided step-by-step from blank canvas to finished painting. All necessary supplies will be provided. All skill levels welcome!

Painting Pop-up Pineapple at The Garden
Join me as I walk you through all the stages of an acrylic painting of a multi-colored pineapple. All skill levels welcome! Walk out of class with an impressive, completed painting.

Let’s Paint! Each class will begin with an art related book and corresponding art project! The first class will start off with a story about Claude Monet and look at and discuss his paintings. He was inspired by his garden and painted different parts of it many times. We will paint Monet’s iconic bridge overlooking his colorful garden using oil pastels and watercolor. What a great way to kick off Spring! We will learn about other artists and techniques. This class is held at Fort Wayne Parks and Recreational Center.

$45 includes ALL the materials you will need, plus illustrated instructions, beautiful patterns and tips. All participants receive a $5 gift card to Fortezza for a coffee of your choice as we work! ($25 value)
Crochet at Fortezza
Come enjoy a latte while learning how to make a simple infinity scarf. If you have never crocheted before, this is the class for you! I will introduce the basic fundamentals of crochet along with simple stitches. Also, I can introduce fun new stitches to those who are more advanced. All are invited!
